This exciting intro course is perfect for anyone keen to dip their paddle into the world of sea kayaking! You’ll learn all the essential skills to confidently paddle in enclosed waters (up to 2 nautical miles from shore) – and have a great time doing it.
Our goal? To get you out on the water, feeling confident, safe, and ready to enjoy the thrill of kayaking. With a focus on fun and practical skills, you’ll spend most of the course on the water — paddling, practicing, and building confidence at your own pace. It’s a hands-on course, but don’t worry — it’s not physically demanding, and no experience is required!
By the end of the session, if you successfully demonstrate your new skills, you’ll earn your Paddle Australia “Basic Skills - Kayak” Certification!
